August 22 We've been seeing a lot of both of these birds, but this is the first time I've seen them both together on the feeder. The Rock Dove (common pigeon) has some difficulty keeping its balance and often has to flap its wings like crazy to maintain equilibrium. The female cardinal seemed quite willing to share, but then flew off.
