Mute Swans are found in most ponds and lakes throughout New Jersey, sometimes in quite large numbers (for example at Shark River). Tundra Swans are regular winter visitors to Forsythe in particular, although I'm sure they're found elsewhere too. Trumpeter Swans are relatively uncommon visitors that I've so far seen only at one location: Assunpink WMA. Trumpeters are the largest, Mute Swans next (with orange bills), with Tundra Swans smallest, although larger than most other birds.
